"Isn't this just a chatbot?"
Yes, language models do the grading — there's just no chat window. Each model gets a narrow job: sort your material into topics, rank what to practice next, write feedback from a faithful transcription of your handwritten or PDF attempt, always with the relevant pages of your own notes as context. Storage, search and progress tracking are ordinary software.
"I already pay for ChatGPT."
Then keep it — this is not a replacement. But a vision model reading handwriting tends to repair it. It writes down the formula that should be there, grades that, and tells you the work is fine. You never learn it misread you. Inkproof reads every page twice, with two unrelated engines, and scores how far apart they are. When they disagree, the page is marked low-confidence and the grading gets more careful. You can see the transcript and the number.
