Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-07-05
These terms govern your use of Inkproof. By creating an account you accept them. Swiss law applies; place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
The service
Inkproof stores the course materials and work attempts you upload, produces machine transcripts, typeset feedback on your own work, and study suggestions. Feedback is generated by AI models: it can be wrong. It is a study aid, not a grade, a guarantee of exam results, or professional advice.
Your content and your warranty
You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you — nothing more.
Upload warranty: by uploading a file you warrant that you are legally permitted to store and process it for personal study — for example your own notes and solutions, or lecture material your institution permits you to keep personal copies of.
No-textbook rule: commercial textbooks, solution manuals, and other material sold under licences that forbid copying may not be uploaded. We run automated heuristics against such uploads and block them; deliberately circumventing these checks is a violation of these terms.
Notice and takedown
Rights holders can report allegedly infringing content to legal@inkproof.io. We remove reported content promptly while we review the notice, and inform the uploader. Counter-notices go to the same address.
Repeat infringers — accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material — will be terminated.
Acceptable use
No attempts to disrupt the service, probe other users' data, resell access, or use the service for anything other than personal study. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
Plans, payment, refunds
Prices are shown at checkout in CHF. The Exam Pass is a one-time purchase valid for 4 months; the monthly plan renews until cancelled (cancellable anytime via the customer portal, effective at period end). Statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings (see the privacy policy for what happens to your data). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable we warn first.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence; for slight negligence we are liable only up to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for exam outcomes.
Changes
We may amend these terms with 14 days' notice by email. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before the change takes effect.
